A Melody of Memories Part 2: Outings

The pictures below were taken at one of the New Horizons events. We went to a hanger at the Kennesaw airport. A dance group performed to The Nutcracker, the kids had reindeer ornaments to create, and Santa was available for pictures. Dasha did not want her picture taken with Santa because she knew he was not the real one! This was a busy day, because this event was immediately followed by a long drive to have a fun pre-Christmas dinner with Eric's extended family.Another enjoyable outing was our visit to the World of Coke in Atlanta. Each host family is encouraged to take out one of the hosting program chaperones, so we chose to bring a Ukrainian chaperone with us to our excursion. The chaperone did not speak English, so Dasha was our "translator". Eric and I decided that playing outside in front of the Coke building was more fun than the World of Coke tour! We played chase with the girls and threw Dasha's new Coke baseball.
Watching the girls experience the "Taste it!" portion of the tour was humorous! Their response to most of the Coke products was a yuck face!
It wouldn't be a Christmas Coke tour without pictures with the polar bear! Masha loved the bear and thought he was funny.
***More outing pictures coming soon!***
