Wipe Out and Hang Out!
Another exciting week at KFBC!!!
Monday night: MUST Ministries
The local MUST Ministry is an organization aimed at taking care of the needy. In addition to homeless care
and a food bank, this ministry also feeds children during the summers who receive free school lunches during the school year. Our church had the opportunity to help the community out by making lunches for these children. On Monday night around 50 people from our church met together and made 500 sack lunches. It was such a blessing to be a part of that community outreach. It was an even bigger blessing to see such a great turnout and a variety of age groups represented. Challenge for you: Be thinking of ways you can reach out to your community so that others can know more fully how deep and how wide is the love of Christ.
Wednesday night: College/Career Bible Study
God continues to bring students to the KFBC Wednesday Night College/Career Ministry Bible Study! Last night we had about 22 people at the Bible study. How exciting to see people coming together to learn more about God. The night opened up with prayer. Eric had prayer stations that we rotated through. Here are the topics that we prayed for that you can pray for today: Your walk with Christ, people you know who are spiritually lost, how you can get involved/serve in your church, and your future. Eric then spoke to us from Ephesians 1:18-19. These are the verses the Lord laid upon Eric's heart to be the heartbeat of the KFBC college/career ministry: "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe." le study, we did something new . . . Wipe Out and Hang Out at the Miller's. We invited the college students over to our place to watch the show Wipe Out and then just hang out. We ended up ordering pizza and also watching some Japanesse game show that made Americans look super silly. There were at least 9 or 10 students that came over. We had so much fun laughing together!
Next Monday night: College/Career Ministry Ladies Bible Study
I am so excited because I have the opportunity this summer to lead the college/career ministry ladies in a Bible study. We
will be studying the Psalms of Ascent: Psalms 120-134. We will use Beth Moore's Bible study Stepping Up to guide our journey towards a deeper relationship with Christ. I completed this same study with my dear Stony Hill sisters last fall, so I am looking forward to all that God will teach KFBC ladies through the study. Please pray that God will guide the time that we spend together, that God will bless the time that the ladies spend on their own with God, and that God will cause these ladies to step up their faith. I can't wait to see what God does!

Two Moms Strike Again
Over the years my mom and Eric's mom have acquired the title: Two Mom's and a Truck. They helped us move to Florida, to NC, to another apartment in NC, and recently back to GA, each time driving the moving truck! Our moms have always been there and have been incredibly supportive of us. Yesterday was a big day for me, and without hesitation our moms agreed to help. Pampered Chef has been off to a slow start, but hopefully that will change after yesterday's event. I have decided to focus on the the bridal aspect of Pampered Chef. After some phone calls this past Wednesday, I found myself at the Brides and Baseball Bridal Show at Turner Field's 755 Club. Our moms were my assistants. They were awesome! Brides thought they were Pampered Chef employees! Together we made at least 95 contacts, some of which are very close to where I currently live. We had a great time, and of course it was a joy to spend time with my moms. Here is a picture of my table. You can't tell much from the picture, but directly behind us was a great view of Turner Field. Thanks, Moms!!!! I love y'all!!!!!!!

Big and Busy
We had another college/career group dinner at Moe's, and our total went from six (including helpers, so ther
e were about 3 students) the last time to a little over 20 this time (including helpers and their children, so there were about 12 students). What a blessing it was to spend time with them and to even see someone come to dinner that has not been to anything else yet!
This is a big and busy week for Kennesaw First Baptist Church! It's VBS week! VBS is from 6:00-8:30 PM Monday-Friday. Eric wanted to work with bed babies and I wanted to teach elementary Bible story, so we compromised: we are doing preschool crafts! We are looking forward to seeing how God works this week in the lives of those involved VBS this week. I love how the theme is about everything pointing back to Christ!

KFBC College/Career Braves Game
June 2nd marked another exciting day for us! We had our first outing with our college/career group: the Braves game! 17 students went! How awesome is that?! The Braves game started out SO slow and boring. The Braves did not even score until the 7th or 8th inning. They tied the game in the bottom of the 9th inning. The crowd erupted with enthusiasm as the Braves finally pulled off the 6 to 5 win in the 12th inning! It was a late night, that's for sure! Here are some pictures from our fun night out.

Eric's granddad was put in ICU yesterday due to blog clots in his leg and lungs.

The Big Catch
Before the big Eller memorial day celebration, Eric and I went fishing with my dad at Pop's lake. Eric caught FIVE fish, Dad caught two fish, and I caught one fish. We had so much fun spending time on the lake with Dad. Here are some pictures for proof. Eric had a really big catch!
