Ooltewah Update

Thanks to everyone for your many prayers regarding our trip to visit Ooltewah Baptist Church. So many people have been praying for us regarding this opportunity that we don't even know! We had a great visit, but a very busy and exhausting visit. Eric and I had the opportunity to attend a Sunday service, have lunch with the pastor and his wife, tour the youth building, tour Ooltewah, have dinner with a committee member and her husband, tour downtown Chattanooga, have breakfast with other committee members, meet the church office staff, have an interview, have lunch with another committee member, and meet with the pastor again. We learned so much information about the church history and vision that our brains were fried by the time we left. We had so much fun with everyone we spent time with. Ooltewah Baptist Church is definitely a loving group of people! The committee will be meeting this week to decide if they feel moving forward with us is God's plan for their church. Please pray that the Lord will give the committee clarity, discernment, direction, and unity in their decision. We'll keep you posted!
