July 4th Celebration on the 3rd
Each year the town of Kennesaw has a July 4th celebration on July 3rd. Since our church is located in the heart of Kennesaw, our church grounds are used in amazing ways. KFBC set up tables in our parking lot for $1 meals (hotdog, chips, and a drink), free popcorn, free cotton candy, free flavored ice, and free watermelon. This community outreach event continued with a time to share the gospel, the good news of Jesus: A - admit that you are a sinner; B - believe in your heart that Jesus came, lived a sinless life, died for your sins, and rose again; C - confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and commit your life to Him. These life-changing truths were attached to 1000 glowsticks that were passed out to children on our church campus. The campus lawn was COVERED with people. At least a couple thousand people gathered on our church yard with their blankets and chairs to watch the Kennesaw fireworks.
